Request for a postponement to OCTOBER 2, 3 and 4, 2020

The ROUEN YACHT CLUB is facing the great and unprecedented global health crisis caused by COVID-19.

These exceptional circumstances prompted the Board of Directors to request a postponement of the date of the event with a natural and logical aim of preserving the safety of participants, volunteers, spectators and partners as well as for the very sustainability of the test.

This request was made last week to the FEDERATION FRANCAISE de MOTONAUTISME and to the INTERNATIONAL MOTONAUTICAL UNION who took note and registered it in their calendars. We are doing the same process today with the TOWN HALL and the PREFECTURE.

This very difficult decision was inevitable given the latest measures taken by the State, the cancellation or postponement of sporting and cultural events noted all over the world, the request for containment which would seem to have to be announced by the President of the Republic this evening, March 16, 2020.

Whatever the date of its realization, the ROUEN YACHT CLUB will offer you a very nice edition of the 24H in 2020!
