Team Jesel to Partner with Roger Mahan Motorsports for 2019 Season
(Lakewood, NJ, November 2018) Coming off a second championship in as many years, Dylan Runne will step up to drive the Roger Mahan Motorsports H-12 in the Hydroplane Racing League H-350 Class for the 2019 season. A strategic partnership has been formed between the two teams to field the boat in a full-time capacity for the 2019 season. The H-12 missed a large portion of the races in 2018 due to conflict, and the team is looking forward to seeing the boat back to the levels of 2017 when the H-12 came out just 5 points short of the H-350 championship with Jimmy King behind the wheel. “It is an honor to be given the opportunity to drive such a great piece of equipment, and to proceed, Jimmy King, it will be another big learning curve, but having the support of the Mahan’s, King’s, and the Jesel team will with the transition,
The Runne Racing / Jesel Valvetrain F-3 will also see a new face behind the wheel, as long-time team member Max Steelno will take over the driving duties for the 2019 season in F-2500. Steel, a multi-time APBA Stock Outboard Champion and APBA Hall of Champions inductee has recently become a qualified Inboard driver in anticipation of the 2019 season.
