Looking back at many of the photos taken during the Stock Mod & J Nationals held at Hinton, WV last week sadly I am reminded of the lack of diversity that still plagues the entry and pro level categories of the sport. Clearly the Hinton Nationals were a huge success in terms of driver turn out and other areas but how do we start to turn the corner on what is clearly a lack of diversity among the driver base and begin to see a field of drivers that represent our cultures of today.
How do we begin to attract a more diverse field of drivers? I’d like to hear folks chime in with ways that you think we could start to build a sport that’s more appealing to outsiders and minorities not affiliated with existing racing families.
Lets here from you the drivers and fans.
