Press Release 11/18/19

ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce that the boat owner members of Grand Prix World Supercharged Hydroplanes recently met and have decided to create a new organization called Grand Prix America (GPA) to more accurately represent the geographic area where we race. We are still actively supporting the American Power Boat Association. In addition, we are now being led by our newly elected club President Dean Rojas who is the owner of the GP-10 “Charger” based out of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Dean stated that he “is excited about the future for GPA and expects to see many great things not only in the short term but for many years to come.” Our boat owners and club members would like to thank past President Sam Cole for his years of leadership and expect that he will continue to provide consult and support in the years to come. These changes are effective immediately.
