California’s Greg Foster wins the inaugural IOGP Texas Outlaw Challenge Grand Prix!! After two great days of weather, heavy wind conditions wreaked havoc on the final race from the start. Greg Foster shot out to the early lead and it was all the veteran F1 powerboat racers could do to hang on without serious incident. 2nd place went to fellow Californian Spencer Love who put in a stellar race weekend with his Clover Construction racing crew. The 3rd place podium spot went to Tammy Wolf of Toronto, Canada, the first time a woman has made it to the podium in the F1-ChampBoat class. Chris Fairchild of Paw Paw, Illinois was running solidly in 2nd place until he stuffed his DAC hull in turn 5 ending the shortened race. The Champ Sport class was all Texans with Wes Cheatham 1st, Tracy Hawkins 2nd and David Johnigan 3rd.
