BROCKVILLE REGATTA is back on the Hydroplane Racing League schedule for 2020.

Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, March 3, 2020 - The 1000 Islands Regatta event in Brockville will finally take place on June 27 and 28.


Following changes to the Board of Directors of the Brockville Regattas, the decision to cancel the event has been reviewed. The will to hold the event with the HRL was very strong, and that is why a plan was put in place by the organizing committee in order to relaunch the event and improve the site.

During this event, 5 classes are on the program including the Jersey Speed ​​Skiff class, 2.5 liters, Formula 2500, Hydro 350 and of course, the prestigious Grand Prix class. In total, nearly 65 registrants, American and Canadian, will participate in the Brockville event. Spectators will be able to attend hydroplane races bringing together the best pilots in the world in addition to attending shows, on the outdoor stage, in the evening.


The Hydroplane Regatta League is very pleased to be able to count on the holding of the Brockville Regatta event on its 2020 calendar which will have a total of 9 racing sites.

“The organization of 1000 Islands Regatta has been with the HRL from the start and it was very important to keep them with us. We have worked with them for the past 10 years, and that is why we wanted the continuity of this racing site, ”said the commissioner of the Hydroplane Regatta League, Mr. Didier-Bernard Séguin.
